Hi Nova Heart, for those who do not know you, who you are ?
We are a band from China, we are the soundtrack of a very strange movie. It is the intersection between your heart and your body. We are the voices inside your head that are speaking to you, like when you love someone very much but they do not know you love them and you have this very strange pain inside. It's terrible, but you kind of don't want it to go away. Because if it goes away, so does your love, and even if it is painful, it is better than having no emotions at all.

Dark electronic rock music for dreams.

What's your news ?
Our first album will be released Summer of 2014. We released an EP last year and have been busy touring and making music videos all year. We will be making lots of a little dark movies because your music is more of a soundtrack, and we have to make the images now.

Which artists you would like to work ?
David Lynch, Nancy Sinatra, Johnny Jewel, and a whole bunch of dead ones. Nina Simone, Lou Reed, Debussy, and maybe Jim Morrison.

Next shows ?
We will be touring Australia, starting with the Woodford Festival near Brisbane. Then I think we have a few places we really want to go including Madagascar, and around Asia.

The city where you love to play ?
One of the most fun shows was actually in Tallin in Estonia. That city is so strange and wonderful, we would really really like to go back. Then there's many places we haven't been that we hope to play, maybe places in Brasil and Latin America because we have never been there and it seems really fascinating.

Austra, Lescop, the National, Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood, God Speed you Black Emperors, Braids, White +.

The artists you'd like to see on stage ?
Nina Simone, I missed her show right before she died. I regret not going.

Your favorite concert halls in Paris ?
I haven't been out so much in Paris, so I don't know yet. I like the Montmartre area, so something around there I guess.

A bar and restaurant where you like to come when you are in Paris ?
Un Zebre at Montmartre. Last time we were in Paris, I think I ate there roughly 3 times... I go back again this time. The food is not so expensive but really good and staff is really nice to us even if our French is terrible.

Any last words to leave us with ?
Emotions are good, we should not control them or let them control us, but rather co-exist together, trying to understand them, use them, allow them to exist, confuse us, and take us to new places. Art without emotion is not art at all.
