Where was your last night out ?
There is a new cinema/bar restaurant called 'The Picturehouse' where I live in Hackney (East London). I went with Nick Jones The JJR drummer to watch 'The Artist' .. a charming 'silent movie'

Your favorite clubs and concert venue in paris ?
I don't know the clubs in Paris. I usually end up going to the bars in & around Pigalle.
My old Parisian friends Louie & Christine always know somewhere good to hang out. Nouveau Casino is a great venue even with its sound restrictions!
Jim Jones Revue shows are always great in Paris. I enjoyed the experience of playing at the Olympia & a long while back I played with the Cult at the Zenith which was cool, but I think my favorite place to play so far was 'La Machine' under Moulin Rouge that was a great night !

Your best night out since the beginning of the year ?
I've been working mostly since the beginning of the year & when your job is playing in a Rock n Roll band, your free time is a chance for a break in the noise & chaos. I don't need any extra madness in my life, so for me, a 'night out' would probably be one of our shows Australia was a real blast & hot too; it's the middle of the summer for them. We did some good shows in France last week. I think 'La Clef' - St Germain-En-Laye was our best night.

A bar or restaurant that you really like in paris
I have been to a few good restaurants in Paris, the one I like to go back to a lot is called - 'L'estaminet' on Rue Oberkamf (Ménilmontant)

The artist you would like to watch playing this year ?
Most of the Artists I would truly love to see are dead unfortunately, but there are a few around, I would like to see Outkast, Mystikal, Tom Waits, I'd like to see the French artist Don Cavalli.

The next event or big night on your schedule ?
I'm doing a bit of deejaying tonight at the 'Garage' venue (North London) for a club called 'Gypsy Hotel' this was the club night that the JJR played their first ever show. Then we head back to France for a bunch of shows at the end of February and March in Bobine, Chabeuile, Lyon, Nancy, Chareville Mezieres, Ris Organis and a great festival on 22 March near Paris called Festival Chorus in Nanterre.

The last cds you have heard ?
I've been listening to a CD. that I picked up from a petrol station -
'Fred Astaire sings the magic of the Musicals' "you say potato" etc. - & a CD. of demo's that we just recorded here in London yesterday.

Whats new for you these days ?
Me & Henri (JJR piano) both have an interest in martial arts, we go to the same gym near Columbia road (East London) it's become a bit of a passion & is a good way to keep fitness levels up while we're not on the road.
